Welcome to the USS Monroe!

The USS Monroe, a brand new Top of the Line Multi-Role Nova Class Ship! Many great starships have carried the Monroe name. But this name wasn't a chance naming. Captain Walton's Grandfather, Samuel Olivea Walton, captained the Nimitz-class ship during the Klingon/Earth War, which lasted four years. That ship is the namesake of the USS Monroe in her current Registry.

The First Nova Class of her type, the Monroe, is a Multi-Role Cruiser with the same armament and upgrades as a Sovereign Class! She has a 14-strong platoon of Marines, Aptly Named 3B "River Wraiths"

"Lieutenant Commander Rachel Williams' personal log. Stardate 239507.30. After a lengthy period of duty on Earth, I have been assigned to the newly commissioned USS Monroe, a Nova Class Starship that has undergone modifications."

She paused...

"From my Security briefing, I was surprised to find out that there will be a maximum of fourteen Marines stationed on her. Considering my last ship was a heavily modified Miranda class, this modern ship will be different. I have this feeling it will. I have read over some of the Bios of the crew and was surprised to see a species called Kryptonian.…
