| Personal History | Bio Rachel Anne Williams was born in the Eurasian Territories on Stardate: 235608.23 (23/08/2356) to Starfleet Career Officers. Her father was a Starfleet Marine, and her mother was a Science Officer. Rachel was a child prodigy who excelled in everything she pursued. As she grew up, she quickly made many friends, thanks to her cheerful disposition. During her junior year at an all-girls school, she received the news that her mother had been killed on an away mission. This tragedy changed her attitude; she became headstrong, clinical, and efficient in her actions. This shift did not sit well with most of her friends, and those who remained became her inner circle—those she relied upon. After finishing school, she joined Starfleet. Her father was very proud of her, but did not quite understand why she chose Fleet rather than Marine service. From primary school up to college, she showed great aptitude in many areas, which was noted by Starfleet Intelligence and Security—interest also came from the Marines, each keen on her potential. When college started, she had made many new friends, mostly children from good families. At one point, she got into trouble with the authorities when a new friend led her astray; needless to say, they ended up in more trouble than she did. After paying a fine, she was released from detention and returned to her family. She completed her college studies, but the shadow of her misdemeanour lingered for the rest of her life. At eighteen, she entered Starfleet Academy in 2374—much to the disappointment of the other branches, but she was determined to be strong in both body and mind.
