Physical Description		Like all Andorian's her skin is a pale blue. Do to an accident during her academy days, she now bears some distinguishing marks. Two Antenna and a scar from an accident she won’t talk about across the left side of her face from her temple to her jaw, spider webbing to touch the outside corner of her eye and earlobe and ending just under her chin. She also has a noticeable limp in her right leg and uses walking aids.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		After having lost the ability to add to the population of Andor following the accident, she protected herself from emotional and mental pain by keeping everyone at arm's length.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Mental Health notes: She is outwardly stable and in control of herself. However for some reason she hates herself and believes that she deserves nothing good. She has been treated for misuse of certain medicines and alcohol and it has been determined that in order to function she needs to have a certain level of substance in her system if she goes below that her body will stroke out and she will die.

Personal History		Toulaine entered StarFleet Academy at age 17, a medical prodigy sent by the Andorian government. She excelled in medical and had real promise to go on to StarFleet Medical as one of the many doctors there. In her fourth year, she had a change of heart and after graduating with honors in medicine, she insisted she be assigned to ships rather than Earth and the institute, insisting her skills are better served on the front lines than behind the scenes. From the beginning she has been praised for her never ending patience in dealing with medical issues, in treating patients, and in discovering several new treatments through expedience. However her commanding officers say she is sometimes difficult to work with as she has no bedside manner, is abrupt, and a little standoffish when it comes to her private life. It isn’t like she won’t make friends, she just tends to be insulting at times and a bit self-centered when it comes to anything outside of medicine. Rumor had it she almost got married while at the academy to a promising engineering cadet. The two were very much in love and had major plans for the future. Then an accident in the engineering training labs happened, there were injuries and a couple of fatalities, it is uncertain if the young man she loved was one of them or not. Toulaine was supposed to do great things and put her family’s name in the annals of Andorian history. Then something happened that changed her personality from outgoing and fun loving to self contained and standoffish. She turned to using medicine as a crutch to deal with something traumatic in her life, becoming an addict and having to undergo treatment. Due to her misuse of certain medicines, she now has to maintain a level of several different substances in her blood stream or her body will terminate. Because of this factor, she refuses to get emotionally close to anyone, but she is fine with being a superficial friend. Because of her approach to medicine, she has been requested by several in authority to be on their personal staff but turns down the “honor” to serve on the ships and front lines.
